“Every time you tear a leaf off a calendar, you present a new place for new ideas and progress.” – Charles Kettering
What will be your new years resolutions for animals?
It is that time of year again. A time when we reflect on everything we accomplished in the past year.
It is a time to reflect on what we would do differently if we had the opportunity for a do over, and to consider how our actions led to outcomes. It is a time when we remember those that we lost, and reflect on how their passing changes our perspective on the world. It is a time for making resolutions for the new year on how we will be better, slimmer, smarter, or kinder.
As you think about what your resolutions will be for the coming year, I challenge you to consider how your contributions to the animal rescue community can play a part in your overall new year’s resolutions.
Will you resolve to do more transports, to volunteer more at your local shelter or to help fund a local animal rescue or shelter through your monetary donations? Or maybe you will resolve to spread the word about animal rescue to recruit more volunteers, assist with coordinating transports for a rescue or shelter or get involved with legislative efforts to change the laws protecting animals in your state.
Whatever your passion, whatever your resolutions, we hope you know that we at Doobert are here to support you and we have come up with our own set of resolutions for the coming year.
We resolve…
- …to continue developing innovative solutions and technologies designed to help you save more animals.
- …to foster and support the animal rescue community with collaboration and encouragement.
- …to remove the drama, providing a supportive environment and forum for animal rescue, without unnecessary drama.
- …to collaborate with other organizations focused on our common, collective goals, working together to save animals.
