Our organization was asked if we had adult cats for a transport headed to northern receiving shelters.
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
The coming together of this transport was a challenge. It was fairly last minute, so finding temporary foster homes, finding a driver… our veterinarian’s flight was delayed so we had to find an alternative option for pre-transport vetting.
What could have made this transport better?
It would have been great if we could had added a few extra cats, but we are thrilled when we can save just one.

The kitties traveled well.
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
Our area is simply overwhelmed with cats. Transport efforts allow for cats to move to areas where they stand a much better chance for adoption, and move into those adoptive homes more quickly than in our location. Even transporting just a few cats at a time, we are thrilled to be a part of each life-saving opportunity.
