As I had already signed up for another transport on the same day, I wasn’t sure about doing this one. It would mean a wait of about 3 hours in South Hill, Va, a town of about 4,000. I thought I would just take my kindle to the library and read for a while, and maybe get myself some lunch.
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
The first transport was a sweet English Setter called Sammie and she was a sweetheart. After meeting the next driver, I searched for the library, only to find out it was closed! On to get something to eat. I was wearing a sweatshirt with dogs, and a woman in the restaurant blessed me for doing what I was doing. I smiled and said thank you.
What could have made this transport better?
More dogs.
Tell us about your passenger/s (behavior, demeanor, etc)?
When I met Hank, I was so surprised as I was under the impression he was 62 lbs. He was about 6! Not sure what happened to my decimal point. He was wagging his tail and just seemed like a happy fellow and ended up being my copilot.
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
I always help when I can.
