Tell us how the transport came together?
I signed up for Doobert, got certified, and had no idea what I was getting into. All I knew is that I wanted to help! So once I signed up for this particular transport, I thought to ask a friend to come with me. So I called, Mike – and he said “hell, ya!”
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
We bought snacks (and our rescue kit), and hit the road…it was pouring with rain, but we were so excited about meeting Xenia and this process that we just had a blast all the way to Hartford (our pick up point). Meeting Xenia, and our first transporter was fun, and we had a few pictures taken. We were impressed with how organized the system was.
What could have made this transport better?
Next time, bring us sunshine 🙂
Tell us about your passenger/s (behavior, demeanor, etc)?
Xenia was happy to see us, eager to jump in the car, and quiet on the trip. No trouble at all!
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
Oof, long story – but the short version is, I’m a big dog lover, had them since I can remember, and want to help those that need it.
