I was contacted through Doobert.com via email to see if I was available to help get Rufus to his foster family.
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
The most memorable moment was when I picked him up from the airport from a first-time pilot transporter. It was so nice to see his enthusiasm for his first rescue.
What could have made this transport better?
This was a well-organized transport and I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. Maybe to see his new home and family would have been nice though!
Tell us about your passenger/s (behavior, demeanor, etc)?
Rufus is a BIG puppy! He was such a good passenger. When we got to my destination, I took him out of the car for a walk. Rufus laid down and rolled back and forth in the grass for a long time. He was so happy!
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
I try to help transport when the stars align and it’s the right time for all of us involved. I love to do it. I feel so good giving a sweet soul another chance at life!
