Gain more foster volunteers and adoptions by sharing your animals from your Companion Case Management to your social media accounts in a few clicks! Here’s how to do it.
Before anything else, you have to make sure that your Doobert account is linked to your Facebook page. If you haven’t linked your social media account yet, follow these steps.
Linking Your Facebook Page / Group to Your Doobert Account
Step 1: Go to your ‘Organization Account Settings’ by hovering over the arrow beside your profile picture.
Step 2: Click on ‘Edit Organization Profile’.
Step 3: Click the ‘Social Media Tab’.
Step 4: Click ‘Add a New Connection’, choose whether you want to connect your Facebook Group or Page and click ‘Continue’. You will be redirected to a page with instructions on how to connect your group or page.
Step 5: Once you have completed all the steps above, click ‘Continue’.
Step 6: On a new window, you will be prompted to log in to your Facebook profile. Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.
Publishing Your Case Animals
Once done, you should be able to see that it is connected. Let’s now proceed with sharing animal profiles in CCM.
Step 1: Go back to your Organization Dashboard, click the ‘Companion Case Management tab’, then select ‘Cases’.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Case Name’ you want to share on your Facebook page to view all the case details.
Step 3: On the next page, go to ‘Animal profile’ and click on the three-dot icon and select ‘Publish Animal’.
Before publishing the animal, their profile’s privacy should be viewable outside of your organization.
Step 4: Choose whether you want to set the privacy to be visible to other organizations or to the general public as well.
Step 5: Set the radius circle that our system will be sending out alerts about your newly published animal.
Step 6: Select which Facebook page / group you would like to publish your animal to.
Step 7: Click on ‘Publish’ at the bottom.
Step 8: To unpublish your animal, simply click on the three-dot icon and click ‘Unpublish Animal’.
And that’s it! More people from your Facebook circle will be able to see your adorable animals!
