Chris Roy is a technology professional and the creator of Doobert. He is passionate about animal welfare and technology, which led him to create Doobert — a platform designed to bring volunteers and organizations together to save animals.

Our episodes are recorded and posted on social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook. We do minimal editing, removing ah’s and um’s.

Our conversation will be about 60 mintues, with the first 10-15 minutes as the warm-up, The episode portion will be 20-30 minutes and then we do about a 15-20 minute post-recording and we’ll answer any questions you have.

You’ll need a computer with a camera and microphone, pretty simple. If you’re comfortable with video calls, you’re ready to go!

Expect a lively, friendly chat, you’ll introduce yourself, talk about your journey, things you’ve learned along the way, your leadership style – what works and what doesn’t, etc. Get ready for an engaging conversation!

No worries at all! Pet cameos are perfectly welcome. Please note that we cannot alter the background audio as your voice will not sound natural but you can use a microphone if you want to minimize background noise.

Please provide a high-quality photo of you AND your organization logo. A high quality PNG file is preferred.

For the best audio and video quality, we recommend a quiet, distraction-free environment with a stable internet connection. This ensures that your episode sounds great and that we don’t run into technical issues during the recording.

We’ll send you a Zoom link with the date and time of your session. It’s as simple as clicking the link when it’s time to record, and you’re all set!

Absolutely! We want everything to go smoothly, so just let us know if you’d like a pre-recording test of your equipment. Our team will schedule a time to make sure everything is working perfectly.

No worries! If something goes wrong on recording day, just let us know. We’re happy to reschedule and make sure we find a time that works for you.

Before your recording day:

  • The podcast will be conducted via Zoom. If you don’t have Zoom installed on your device, go to Zoom.us to download the free software at least a few days in advance.
  • Ensure that you have a reliable internet connection.

We do some light editing by cleaning up any unnecessary pauses, ah’s and um’s.

Of course! Once your episode is published, we’ll send you the links so you can easily share them with your network.

Your episode will be shared on LinkedIn, YouTube & Facebook. It can also be found on the Doobert website, and it will be available on your favorite podcast platform.
