Improved Case Note Saving and Data Protection
Clicking outside the Create Case Note window no longer closes it and erases what you’ve typed. Doobert also asks before discarding a note you haven’t saved.
What changed
Before
While writing a case note, clicking anywhere outside the Create Case Note window closed it without saving anything you had typed.
The subject, description, and any attachments were cleared, and reopening the window showed an empty form.
Now
Clicking outside the window no longer closes it, and everything you’ve typed stays in place.
If you click the X or Cancel after typing, Doobert asks before discarding your work.
What’s improved
- Your text stays when you click outside. Clicking outside the Create Case Note window leaves it open, with everything you’ve typed still in place.
- Unsaved work is protected. If you click the X or Cancel after typing, a confirmation message appears. Choose No, Cancel to keep working, or Yes, Discard to close the window.
Why it matters
Clicking outside the window no longer erases case documentation you’ve spent time writing.
See it in action
- Open any case and, in Notes About Case, add a new case note.
- Type a subject or description, then click outside the window. The window stays open, and your text is still there.
- Click the X or Cancel. A confirmation message asks whether to keep working or discard the note.
