What’s New in Doobert

Three new ways to see exactly what’s happening on your cases — tag history, animal profile tracking, and file uploads are all now part of the record.

September 2026 Release Notes

NEW · ACTIVITY LOG

Tag changes now show up in the Activity Log

Adding or removing a tag on a case is now part of that case’s history, with the full before-and-after detail one click away.

Adding or removing a tag logged nothing — there was no record of when a tag changed or who changed it.

Every save logs an entry naming the tag that changed (“Tag added” or “Tag removed”). A collapsible “Show tag details” reveals the full before/after tag set for the case.

Why it matters

Tag changes are now part of the case’s audit trail, just like everything else.

Try it out
  • Add or remove a tag on any case
  • Open the Activity Log for that case
  • Click “Show tag details” to see the full before/after list

NEW · ACTIVITY LOG

Animal profiles created by Jotform now show up in the Activity Log too

Every animal profile that comes in through a Jotform submission is now logged automatically, with a link straight back to the submission that created it.

Animal profiles created by a Jotform submission logged nothing — only manually-added profiles showed up in the Activity Log.

Each submission logs one entry naming every animal profile it created, with a link back to the Jotform submission itself.

Why it matters

Every animal profile on a case is now traceable to how it was created — by staff, or by an intake form.

Try it out
  • Submit (or find a recent) Jotform intake that creates an animal profile
  • Open the case’s Activity Log
  • Look for the entry naming the profile(s) created, with a link back to the submission

NEW · FILES

Every file now shows who uploaded it, and when

The Files list on a case now carries the same accountability as everything else in Doobert.

The Files list showed only the filename — no record of who uploaded it or when.

Each file row shows a line reading “Created by [Name] · [Weekday, Month D, YYYY] @ [time] [timezone],” so it’s always clear who added a file and when.

Why it matters

Knowing who uploaded a file and when helps staff track down the right document faster, especially on cases with many files.

Try it out
  • Open the Files section on any case
  • Check any file row for the uploader name and timestamp
