Penny, a small-sized Poodle, we drove legs 2,3,4 for her cross-country drive from Oregon to Florida. Live 120 miles from handoff site, then 265 miles to Leg 6 hand-off. Very long day! My wife graciously accompanied me as co-driver and caretaker of our canine ward. Ms. Hagen and the helper from Base Leg were gracious and were on time. Perfect. At handoff to Ms. Waldron at Leg 5 was great to quickly meet. Penny was a great lil dog to have in our vehicle, with no messes or problems.
