Tell us how the transport came together?
I’ve previously used Doobert to schedule transports as we routinely have Cuban kittens coming into Norfolk who needs to come up to Springfield. Doobert has been a great resource because volunteers often offer to drive again, which makes future transports easier to plan in advance, and any infilled legs I can make another Doobert post for.
Were there any memorable moments from this transport?
Every transporter along the way commented on what a charming boy Knot was and how happy to help they all were.
What could have made this transport better?
Everything went super smoothly!
Tell us about your passenger/s (behavior, demeanor, etc)?
Knot was well-traveled after flying in earlier in the week. He was alert and happy and calm in his crate, the ideal passenger.
Why did you take this transport, what compelled you to help?
I organized it to help continue to bring at-risk stray kittens from Guantanamo Bay here to the DC area for adoption.
