Can we import our animals and fosters into Doobert?
Absolutely! Doobert has integrations with ShelterBuddy, ShelterLuv, Shelter Manager, PetPoint, Chameleon, Adopt a Pet and RescueGroups to make it easy to get your profiles and pictures into the system. Or you can use our free Doobert mobile app to quickly snap a pic, and have the profile created automatically.
Can we add other users to our Doobert organization?
Of course. The organization owner on Doobert can add other authorized users to your Doobert organization to help with transport case management and fostering.
Does Doobert share or sell my information?
Nope. We’re in it for you and for the animals. Doobert has powerful privacy functions built into the system so you can choose what information displays. Doobert will never sell your personal information so you can rest assured that Doobert is safe and reliable and focused on helping you help animals.

FosterSpace

Can we receive texts from our fosters?
Yes! Doobert Fosterspace is the ONLY animal rescue platform that assigns every organization a phone number, and allows you to send, and receive text messages from your fosters. #whatsheltersoftwarecan’tdo
Can we send group texts to our fosters?
Yes! Doobert Fosterspace provides powerful tags for you to send messages. For example you could send to all dog fosters or all cat fosters; or all fosters without dogs or all fosters without cats; and if you build your own tags, you could send to neonatal fosters for example. The possibilities are endless.
Can our fosters contact us through Fosterspace?
Yes! Doobert Fosterspace is the ONLY platform that allows volunteers to communicate with you in multiple ways. They can text or email you, or open a ticket to you from their dashboard. Doobert Fosterspace is the ONLY system that has a volunteer portal for these vital communication activities.

Case Management

Can we have our webpage that automatically opens up new cases for us?
Yes! Doobert Companion Case Management has powerful functionality that can be set up to automatically open new cases when a client fills out a form on your website. For example you could have your owner surrender form open a new case in the CCM module. Doobert CCM also has advanced, automatic workflows with the ability to send surveys (i.e. owner surrender survey) and have the results added to the case for the client automatically.
Can we automate case follow ups?
Yes! Doobert Companion Case Management is the ONLY animal welfare system that allows you to create your own follow up workflows that run automatically. You can send an email, and then based upon whether the client responds, have the system automatically follow up with another email or even a text after a particular amount of time. Doobert CCM is smart enough to terminate the workflow if they respond so you can set up different workflows on each case giving you powerful functionality at your fingertips.
Can we generate reports for cases?
Yes! Doobert Companion Case Management allows you to get all of the information you want on your cases into easy formats like Excel so that you can demonstrate your progress to your board, your community and your donors.

Chatbot

What is the Doobert Chatbot?
It is a free tool that helps animal welfare organizations engage with supporters 24/7 by answering questions and sharing information from your website.
Is the Doobert Chatbot free?
Yes, it’s completely free. Premium upgrades are available for extra features like multilingual communication, integrations (Adopt-a-Pet, Petco Love, etc.), and the option to “feed” it offline data such as PDFs.
What platforms is the chatbot compatible with?
It works on any website! You can use the WordPress plugin if your site is built on WordPress, or the universal chatbot script for other platforms like Wix, GoDaddy, Squarespace, and more.
What do I need to get started with the chatbot?
You’ll need an active Doobert organization account (create one here if you don’t have it yet). Then, add the chatbot to your website using the WordPress plugin or a universal script.
Is installation complicated?
Not at all! On WordPress, you simply download and activate the plugin. For non-WordPress sites, you just copy and paste a script into your website. No IT team is required—anyone familiar with your website setup can do it. Read the detailed steps here.
How do I upgrade to premium features?
You can upgrade directly in your Doobert dashboard. If you need assistance or questions on the premium plan, our support team is happy to assist.

Doobert Store

What is the Doobert Store?
The Doobert Store is an virtual pet supply store where your supporters can help you raise money for the animals under your care.

Doobert gives back 5% of a shopper’s total purchase to a local animal shelter or rescue of their choice. So when your supporters shop with us, they can help you save more animals with every order placed.
How does my organization get on the list to be supported?
It’s easy! Just sign-up for free on Doobert. It’s a simple application, and we verify 100% of the organizations to ensure we keep the platform focused on helping reputable organizations that help animals.

In your organization settings add your PayPal email and that’s it. We welcome you to take a look at all of the functionality that Doobert has to offer, but it’s certainly not required.

RescueTube

Can we capture videos in Doobert?
Yes! Doobert is the ONLY system that has simplified the video capture process. Simply create a bucket number in RescueTUBE, type that number into the free Doobert mobile app, and you or your volunteers can start uploading videos from their phones right back to the system where you can easily download it.
How much storage can we use? How long can the videos be?
At Doobert we believe in supporting the animal rescue efforts of all organizations so using our forever free plan we give you 30 gigs of storage for your videos. Each video is limited to a total of 5 gigs (~10 minutes of video recording) but you can load as many videos as you want. Need more space? No problem. With our Doobert Elite and Pro plans the storage limit goes to over 100 gigs of space. That’s a lotta space for all types of videos.
Can we only load animal videos?
Of course not. Doobert RescueTUBE is the ONLY system that allows you to video everything. Whether you are a shelter veterinarian that wants to capture surgeries, or an ACO in the field trying to document a case, RescueTUBE allows you the flexibility to capture and store videos easily, just by typing in the bucket number and uploading from there.
Can I see who uploaded what files?
No, unless your volunteers add their name in the comments about the video.
What files can I upload to RescueTUBE buckets?
From mobile and tablet devices, you can upload images/videos from your gallery. From your Doobert organization RescueTUBE module, you can also upload PDF files.
