Doobert Just Got Easier to Use

Three quality-of-life improvements to tools you already use every day — sortable tasks, a resizable texting panel, and clearer case note history.

September 2026 Release Notes

IMPROVED · TASKS

Sortable columns on the Tasks tab

Tasks now default-sort by due date, and every column can be sorted with a click.

The task list rendered in insertion order, so the work due next wasn’t necessarily at the top.

Tasks now sort by due date automatically (soonest first). All five columns — Due Date, Reminder Date, Contents, Assigned To, Created By — are sortable, and overdue dates show in red.

Why it matters

A quick glance at the Tasks tab now shows what’s due next, without having to scan the whole list.

Try it out
  • Open a case with tasks — it now defaults to Due Date, soonest first
  • Click any column header to sort by it, and again to reverse the order

IMPROVED · CASE MESSAGING

A resizable typing area for text messages

The text-message panel’s typing area was too small to comfortably use — now you can resize it yourself.

The typing area in the text-message slide-out panel was small and fixed in size, making it hard to see what you were writing.

Drag the handle above the typing area to make it larger or keep it compact — the Send button stays visible either way.

Why it matters

Staff write longer messages more often than the old panel assumed — a cramped, fixed-size box slowed that down.

Try it out
  • Open the text-message panel for any contact
  • Drag the handle just above the typing area to resize it

IMPROVED · CASE NOTES

Full timestamps and edit history for case notes

Every case note and reply now carries a full timestamp, and edits keep the earlier version on record.

Notes and replies showed no reliable edit timestamp — an edited note just got restated as a new reply underneath, so the same update ended up being read twice.

Every note and reply shows a full date and time. Editing a note adds an “Edited [date/time]” stamp with a “View original” toggle, and the Activity Log records the edit along with the pre-edit content.

Why it matters

No more re-reading the same update twice — you can see exactly what changed, and when.

Try it out
  • Edit any case note or reply
  • Look for the new “Edited” stamp and “View original” toggle
  • Check the Activity Log for a matching entry with the pre-edit text
