With thousands of volunteers looking for animals to foster, Doobert will allow your organization to search for available Doobert volunteers to help you in saving more animals! Here’s how you can find and add new foster volunteers
Step 1: On your organization dashboard, click the Fosterspace module then click on Dashboard.
Step 2: On the Current Fosters program which is the bottom left quadrant, click the plus icon.
You have two options when looking for foster volunteers. First, you can add nearby registered volunteers or by inviting your preferred volunteer via their email address. For now, let’s search for a registered volunteer using the Start Searching button.
Step 3: Click on the Start Searching button. Make sure that the dropdown menu shows Foster Home Volunteers before filtering your search results.
Step 4: Use the search filters such to find the foster volunteer you need.
Step 5: Click the search button and our system will show you a list of available volunteers you can reach out to.
Step 6: To view the volunteer’s full profile, click on their name.
Step 7: To send the volunteer an invite to foster directly in our built-in messaging tool, click the first icon. Otherwise, if you want to email the user, click the other icon.
Step 8: When sending an email, a pop-up screen will appear. Enter the message you want to send then click Send.
Once our volunteers see your invite, they have the option to accept or decline and we will notify you immediately of their decision. Let’s save more animals together!
