We are so glad that you are volunteering to foster! Did you know that you can manage all of them with ease on a single page? The Fosterspace module gives you the ability to update animal profiles, view animal appointments, and send a ticket for medical concerns, supply requests, and more!
Here’s how you can manage your animals.
On your volunteer dashboard, click on the ‘Fosterspace’ tab. In the Fosters section, you can see a list of your animals in care.
In the ‘Actions’ column, you are given 4 icons:
Edit Animal
View Animal’s Appointments
Add Notes
Send a Ticket

How to Edit an Animal’s Profile
Do you want to share what your foster animal has been up to? Think of it as a social media update, but for your furbaby!
Step 1: To edit the animal’s profile, click the ‘Edit Animal’ icon
Step 2: In the Animal Profile page, you can post what your foster animal has been up to.
Step 3: You can upload photos and videos by clicking the ‘Add Videos / Photos’ button.
Step 4: Click ‘Post’.
How to View or Add an Animal’s Appointment
It is important to be updated and aware of your foster’s upcoming appointments, such as to the shelter, to the vet, play dates, and more!
Step 1: To view the animal’s appointment, click the ‘View Animal’s Appointments’ Icon.
Step 2: To add an appointment, click the ‘New’ button in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Supply the necessary information such as the title, appointment type, description, date, time, and location.
Step 4: Click ‘Create’.
How to Add Notes
This feature will let you add important notes such as milestones, breakthroughs, and personal thoughts to your foster animal!
Step 1: To add personal notes to the animal’s profile, click the ‘Add Notes’ button.
Step 2: Type in the information/notes.
Step 3: Click ‘Save’.
How to Send Support Tickets
If you need some help from the organization where your foster came from, you can send a ticket. There are three tickets available through this feature:
Medical
Supply
Others
Step 1: To send a ticket, click on the ‘Send Ticket’ icon.
Step 2: Select the appropriate ticket type on the dropdown selection.
Step 3: Type in the description of your request.
Step 4: Click ‘Send’.
With this Fosterspace feature, you can get more things done without the hassle!
